The officer of the day was responsible for the morning roll call for his barracks. In this report, dated April 20-21, 1937, the cadets present were listed in categories including "sick in quarters, light duty, special duty, out of uniform." They also had categories for those cadets who were absent. Those categories were "absent with leave, detached service and absent sick."
