The aims of the journal is to share the rich traditions of East African culture, bringing together a new understanding and appreciation of Africa for educators, scholars, and those who want to learn more about Africa. The journal welcomes from faculty, staff, students, and community research manuscripts, submissions from classroom teachers, and essays or poems related to East African society, language, or culture. The East African Journal is of Language, Culture, and Society is interdisciplinary, open access, and peer-reviewed.
