The aims of the journal is to share the rich traditions of East African culture, bringing together a new understanding and appreciation of Africa for educators, scholars, and those who want to learn more about Africa. The journal welcomes research articles, manuscript submissions, articles on teaching and learning, and essays or poems related to East African society, language, or culture from university faculty, classroom teachers, students, and community members. The East African Journal of Language, Culture, and Society is interdisciplinary, open access, and peer-reviewed.
