Our mission is to engage with the community in ways that improve quality of life for older adults, our faculty, staff, students, and future generations. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we seek to document the resilience, strength and wisdom of our older generation for our younger generations.
The Institute for Healthy Aging has been working with faculty and students in the departments of Human Services, Gerontology, and Physical Therapy to prepare them to meet with participants on the phone or through the internet. Our faculty and students are eager to hear participants' stories, anecdotes, and insights about surviving difficult times.
