Bio

Motonori Sato is Professor of English at Keio University in Japan, where he teaches modernism, film studies, and film production. His research interest lies primarily in British modernism and British cinema. He is the author of numerous articles and book chapters as well as his monograph The Poetics of the British New Wave: British Cinema and the Genealogy of Social Realism (Kyoto: Minerva Publishing Company, 2012). His book, Graham Greene and Cinema, is forthcoming from Keio University Press. He is currently researching the legacy of modernism in contemporary literature.
