hoi polloi: a literary publication (1998-2007) of Gainesville College

hoi polloi was a literary publication (1989-2007) founded by English Department faculty members Brad Strickland and Thomas Sauret and comprised of nonfiction essays written by students at Gainesville College, Gainesville, GA. Produced annually, hoi polloi offered students the opportunity to publish exceptional essays produced in English Composition classes. The publication was preceded by Perceptions (1982-1996), which included not only essays but also poetry, fiction, and drama, and was folded into Chestatee Review (1997-present) after 2007.
