DESCRIPTION
Our class spent time studying Frida in our unit Identidades Personales y Públicas. We talked about the personal meaning of Frida’s work along her public identity, and then our own. As we examined our personal identity and what makes us who we are, we chose 5 symbols each to represent our identities and created a self portrait based off of Frida’s “Self Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird”.
