Description/Abstract

My poster presentation will be a reflection of the changes in the educational communities opinions on learning styles. My opinion and believes have drastically change as more research has came to light on what learning styles are in the new academic language appropriate to use. I plan to use this presentation as an outlet to inform others about the correct terminology and the growing understanding of how students learn. Specifically, I will be introducing the terminology of learning preferences and why this is different than the common stigma that comes along with the term of learning styles.

Note to Conference Administrators

I have class from 10:50-3:30 and was hoping I could work around that. If not, I could miss the end of my second class (2:30-3:30) or the end of my first class (12:30-1:30) with an excuse. Thank you!
