Philosophy of Papers & Publications: Interdisciplinary Journal of Undergraduate Research
Papers & Publications is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal of undergraduate research and is published and supported by the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (CURCA) at the University of North Georgia.
Papers & Publications promotes student learning by disseminating undergraduate research and creative works that make an intellectual or creative contribution to the discipline or to applied practice.
Who Can Submit?
Any undergraduate student from a college or university in the southeast region of the United States — including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia — may submit an original article to be considered for publication in Papers & Publications provided he or she owns the copyright to the work being submitted or is authorized by the copyright owner or owners to submit the article. The work must have been completed while the student was an undergraduate; the student may submit research within one year after graduating.
Rights for Authors and Nighthawks Open Institutional Repository
As further described in our submission agreement (the Submission Agreement - the first page of submission form), the authors retain all copyright to the article, but assigns Papers & Publications and the Nighthawks Open Institutional Repository non-exclusive distribution rights. If the author chooses, he or she may assign a Creative Commons 4.0 license to the work as well.
General Terms and Conditions of Use
Articles published in Papers & Publications throught the Nighthawks Open Institutional Repository are subject to copyright. Any reuse of the articles are subject to permissions from the author unless otherwise noted by a Creative Commons license.
Users of the Nighthawks Open Institutional Repository website and/or software agree not to misuse the Nighthawks Open Institutional Repository service or software in any way.
These policies and the Submission Agreement constitute the entire agreement between Nighthawks Open Institutional Repository and the Author(s) regarding submission of the Article.
