The Hal B. Rhodes III juried exhibition is held each spring semester to showcase the best work of North Georgia College & State University students majoring in Studio Art, Art Marketing, and Art Education. This annual exhibition and awards presentation is made possible by the Hal B. Rhodes III Art Endowment Fund, established in 1990 by Hal B. Rhodes II and Elizabeth Rhodes to honor the memory of their son, Hal B. Rhodes III.

The Hal B. Rhodes III legacy enables North Georgia to honor the donors’ commitment to the arts by encouraging and promoting the artistic development of Department of Visual Arts students who best exemplify North Georgia leadership, departmental commitment, scholarly/artistic achievement, and professional dedication asked of our North Georgia art majors.
